Muddy paws highland tartan coats are designed to insulate your dog, trapping warm air and body heat radiating from the dog. That is illustrated by the thicker than usual wadding of our ever popular tartan blanket coat. Traditional chest and body fixings and touch and close Hook and loop tape may be widely used. Complete with shower proof properties, safety reflective features, blanket design, Hook and loop tape straps and elasticated leg straps.

Chest means girth , so the measurement around the dogs body , just in the back of the front legs.
You wish to measure between the neck and base of tail of their dog in order to make a choice the proper size.
Neck measurement is approximate as the Hook and loop tape fastening means there may be slight room for adjustment.
